Imphal, September 04 2011: An environment awareness programme was organised by the Kongpal Women Development and Welfare Association, Porompat at Kongpal Khaidem Leikai under the aegis of the Environment and Ecology Wing, Government of Manipur yesterday.
In addition to lectures given by experts and resource persons on environment related issues, tree saplings were also planted in the area as a part of the programme.
