Ramgariah Girls College, Millerganj, on Saturday to save the environment.
Prominent environmental activist Baba Balbir Singh Seechewal while encouraging the participants said, “All Sikhs of Guru Nanak are EcoSikhs and we should all stand up to save Punjab and help it revive its green splendour. We should spread this message from various religious centres.”

Industrialist Ranjodh Singh said, “We have to flow like pure water of Gangotri with a clear vision on a well-defined path. We should learn to tolerate one another and do not blame authorities for the pollution. Each one of us owes the responsibility.”
Narinder Kaur Sandhu, principal of Ramgarhia College, emphasized on the role of women in saving the environment. “Women are equally responsible in bringing about a change in the environment of Punjab,” she said.
Professor Joga Singh, head of Guru Nanak Polytechnic College, Ludhiana, shared his experience of how he and his team of students worked in village Billa and transformed its dirty pond into a stadium, besides developing a low-cost sewerage system in the village. i guess we must have a law for the environmental problems. the pledge is not hat kind of important.why?? because you have a pledge, but you don’t do it. so whats the importance of it. we better promise and do it as well. not for myself, not for you, but for the mother earth. thank you.
