Running policemen care for Mother Earth

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet — Highland cops have taken the lead in caring for mother earth and staying fit.
Police Regional Director Villamor Bumanglag led over 200 cops in one of its more meaningful environmental programs.
Bumanglag, along with the command Group and the Directorial Staff, led jogging and a Pulot Basura drive along Long-Long Compac, La Trinidad MPS to WCPC, located at J. Abad Santos Drive, Burnham Park, Baguio City via Quezon Hill, Lourdes Grotto, Dominican, Lower Rock Quarry and Kisad Rd, Baguio City.
Bumanglag said: “Fitness and Wellness is designed to ensure that police personnel gain an icreased awareness of the positive benefits of exercise and its importance as a basic component for successful police officer.”
The regional director said members of the force should maintain a level of physical fitness not only to benefit them personally but to assist them in safely carrying out their duties and responsibilities.
